Navigation

• FN + up/down arrows to move up and down pages
• shift + 1 to zoom to fit
• Select an object then shift + 2 to zoom to selection
• Hold space to pan, let go to return to previous tool
• Mouse tips
  • Scroll to pan vertically
  • Hold shift and scroll to pan horizontally
  • Click and hold the scroll wheel and move the mouse to pan anywhere

Selection

• Select an object then hold alt/option and hover on other objects/frames to view the distance between them
• esc to deselect
• Hold shift to select/deselect multiple objects
• Hold ctrl/cmd while dragging an object to lock movement horizontally or vertically
• Hold alt/option while dragging an object to make a copy
• Hold ctrl/cmd when selecting to select individual objects (even if grouped or in components)
  • Can also double click to move deeper into groups

Shapes and Frames

• Hold shift while creating shapes/frames to maintain 1:1 ratio
  • On line tool, it will lock to 45 degree angles
• Hold shift while resizing shapes/frames to maintain existing ratio
• Hold alt while creating/resizing shapes/frames to reference at center instead of top left corner
• Hold ctrl/cmd while resizing frames to override constraints (temporarily changes all constraints to opposite of dragged corner)
